Prickle Pics: Poppy @ 7 Weeks

After giving Poppy a few days to adjust to her new home, I decided it was time for a photo shoot to capture some pictures of her as a youngster. At the age of seven weeks (or is it eight?) she is already showing signs of quilling and grumpier days await, so getting her to pose pretty isn't going to get any easier in the coming weeks.

The shutter wasn't snapping for more 30 seconds before she was on-the-run in search of a hidey spot, but I was quick and got a few scrapbook-worthy shots before she had enough and snuggled into the corner of the comfy chair where I had placed out makeshift photo studio.

Prickle Pics: Hello Goodbye

Poppy was about 4 weeks old when we met her for the first time. She was just an itty-bitty ball of quills and oh, so cute! It was love at first sight...for me anyway. She was a sleepy little hoglet and I must admit that her eyes were closed during most of the visit, but she cuddled right into the palm of my hand so I was pretty sure she liked me too. We snapped this photo with a cell phone before we said goodbye. It was almost a month later before we brought her home and by then she had grown so much that we treasure her baby picture now more than ever!
